How we protect your credit card
The Lord John Press website utilizes SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Technology. Secure socket layers encrypt credit
card information so it can't be read by anyone but Lord John Press. This encryption is some of the most
powerful encryption available today.
Using your credit card on a secure online web site like ours is very similar to many transactions you make
every day with your ATM or credit card at the grocery or video store or gas station. Your information is encrypted and then transmitted over a network for verification. While this information is in transmit it is the encryption that keeps it safe even if it is ever intercepted.

In the unlikely event of an unauthorized use of your credit card at Lord John Press, we will reimburse you if you properly notify your bank or credit card company and they do not cover all fraudulent charges. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any portion of the $50, Lord John Press will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50 if the unauthorized use of your credit card, through no fault of your own, resulted in a purchase made at Lord John Press while utiliizing our secure servers.
In the event of any unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card company in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Credit Cards & Fraud Protection
In the event that your credit card is declined, Lord John Press will attempt to reprocess your order for two consecutive days before canceling. (Note: declines are often the result of a mis-keyed credit card number or expiration date.)
Please note: EACH CREDIT CARD WILL PASS THROUGH OUR SECURITY VERIFICATION PROCESS. We require that the correct "Bill To" address for each order be on file with the issuing bank of the credit card selected for the order.
If your credit card billing and/or shipping information cannot be verified against the information with the issuing bank, your shipment could be delayed or cancelled.
We have taken steps to deter credit card thieves from using stolen credit card information on our site. We request that all customers shipping to addresses other than their billing address notify their credit card company of the alternate shipping address. This process is becoming standard and credit card companies are happy to assist you.
Simply call the number on the back of your credit card and let them know you are placing orders via the Internet and would like to give them an alternate shipping address. Doing this will speed up the order process.
If we check an order and the shipping address is not listed on the credit card account, the order will be delayed. An email will then be sent to notify you of the delay and request you register the alternate shipping address with your credit card company. You then have 48 hours to register the alternate shipping address and notify us before we cancel the order. Again, if there is no response from you within 48 hours, we will cancel your order.
Your credit card will not be charged until your order is ready to ship. Additionally we will only charge your credit card for items that are shipped and not charge your card for any items that are unavailable at the time your order is placed.

Payments are only accepted from the countries we ship to. We do not accept an ordinary personal check from your regular checking account. However, if your checking account debit card bears the Visa or MasterCard logo, then you can use that debit card to make an online purchase.
Paying with PayPal
PayPal provides an easy and centralized method to pay by credit card or through your checking account, through a secure and independent party. PayPal simply pays Lord John Press for your purchase. You control how much money is in your PayPal account.
To pay for your order with PayPal, you no longer need to establish a PayPal account. During the order process you will be directed to PayPal and can pay with a credit card. To read and understand the PayPal process click here and go to the link that says "Sign up for your FREE PayPal Account!". If you need additional assistance, you can contact PayPal's Customer Service by phone at 1-888-221-1161.
Special note on PayPal: Lord John Press does not accept PayPal for International orders.

Sales Tax Policy
You will not be charged sales tax if you ship your order outside of California.
Product Availability
Please note that listed availability might not be applicable for multiple copies of an item, and that sudden demand for an item can have an effect on its availability. We will inform you by phone or email if any items in your order prove to be unavailable.
Shipping times are calculated from the time your merchandise leaves the Lord John Press warehouse. Online orders are usually processed, packed and shipped in 2-3 business of your order. This would be delayed if an order were placed over the weekend or on a holiday. Please make your arrangements accordingly.
Please remember that your credit card is not charged until your item(s) is/are shipped. If any information on your order has changed (i.e. credit card or shipping address) between the day you placed the pre-order and the shipping date, please notify Lord John Press immediately.

Obtaining a Final Invoice
You have a number of ways to obtain your invoice:
• Printing the order confirmation page that is displayed immediately after your final step of the checkout process that asks you to confirm your purchase through our secure shopping cart
• Printing your invoice that will be emailed to your shortly after ordering to the email address you entered during the checkout process.
• Visiting your order status page that updates the progress of your order from day 1 until your shipped item is received by you
If you are still unable to obtain an invoice, please email us with your order and we will send you a copy of your invoice.
NOTE: The final shipped item will NOT contain an invoice that includes the purchase price! This is our way of helping you make a gift purchase from Lord John Press for that special person! There will only be a shipping manifest.

Prices & Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price, with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing, coupon or gift certificate errors or misuse and abuse, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed under these conditions. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders and correct any disparities whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. We reserve the right to refuse any order. Prices and policies are subject to change without prior notice. All images and text on this site are copywritten and are the property of Lord John Press.

Shipping
Shipping Rates and Times
There is a minimum shipping charge for all orders placed. Depending on the quantity, weight and destination of your order, shipping rates may be calculated based on these factors. You can see your final shipping charge during the order process before you place your order. You can also change the shipping method (i.e. Overnight service instead of Ground service) and recalculate the cost during the order process.

Special note on quoted shipping time: The shipping method you choose takes effect AFTER the "Availability" period listed next to each item. For example, if the item's availability shows "Usually ships in 2-3 business days" and you choose "Next Day Air", your order will ship via Next Day Air after the availability period, in this example, 2-3 business days.
Where Lord John Press Ships: Lord John Press currently ships within the United States. We also ship to Canada. Customers shipping outside the United States may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
Shipments to Hawaii & Alaska can only be shipped via 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air.
Special note for orders shipping outside the United States:
Lord John Press will not ship to any address other than the cardholder's billing address. We will only ship to the billing address and no alternate shipping address. Your order will not begin to be processed until all required information is given and confirmed by Lord John Press. Additional processing time may be required for international orders.
In some cases, Lord John Press may need additional information regarding the cardholder’s account. An email will be sent to the cardholder requesting a copy of the credit card or bank statement and a form of identification. The information will need to be faxed to (818) 366-6674. Once the information is received and verified the order will begin to be processed.

Where Lord John Press does NOT Ship
Where Lord John Press does NOT Ship: Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands and everywhere else outside North America including, Hotels, Motels or temporary residences.
Special note for APO/FPO and PO Box addresses: We do not ship to these locations. Since we ship primarily with UPS a valid United States street address is needed to ensure proper delivery.

Approved Couriers
Lord John Press reserves the right to choose the most effective form of shipping for your package and only uses couriers that have a tracking system or a Delivery Confirmation System. For example, FedEx, UPS or USPS.
Tracking your Shipped Order
Lord John Press wants to keep you as informed as possible and will send you emails regarding the status of your order. You will receive emails in the following order and/if your order consists of these issues:
You will automatically be sent an order confirmation email shortly after you submit your order. If you have not received this email please call us at (818) 360-5804 to verify that the order has been placed or the correct email address was entered.
If there is a problem with billing address or shipping address or you will be emailed within 2-3 business days after the order is placed.
If any items in your order are out of stock you will be emailed within 2-3 business days showing which items are affected.
Once your order has shipped, you will be emailed a tracking number (FedEx or UPS) or a Delivery Confirmation Number (USPS). You will be able to go to their respective websites www.FedEx.com or www.UPS.com and track your package. For USPS, a "Delivery Confirmation Number" is issued, which will only allow customers to see when the order has shipped and when it has been delivered. At this time, this system is not capable of tracking the package like the other couriers mentioned, but you can visit the www.usps.com website for this information.

Shipping Problems...It's Late!
If the expected delivery time listed with your choice of shipping has expired, and tracking information does not help, please contact us immediately.
Your order may be late because no one was available to accept delivery. If you are not present when a delivery is attempted, the carrier will make a second attempt, and often a third. If delivery is still not made, the shipment will be returned to our warehouse. You must report to us any undelivered order within 25 days of the date you placed the order.

Return Policy
Lord John Press wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our return policy is simple; we will accept any items ordered from Lord John Press within 30 days of receipt if the following conditions are met:
Item(s) cannot be used and must remain in original packaging. Any form of alteration of any material is considered to be used and non-returnable. If the item meets these requirements, a full refund, minus shipping cost will be refunded to the billing party. If your item has been opened and you simply do not like the item(s), ordered the wrong item(s), or it just wasn't what you expected, a refund can be issued, minus shipping cost and a 20%
restocking fee. The item must be in brand new and resalable condition. If your item has been damaged in shipping, please refuse the package if possible. If you have already accepted the item and realized the item has been damaged after you have opened the package, please contact Lord John Press immediately and either a call tag will be issued or the item replaced. Either way, Lord John Press will replace the items immediately at no cost to you.
No returns will be accepted for items purchased at Lord John Press Auctions. All auction items are sold "as-is" and all sales are final. To initiate a return, please call (818) 360-5804 or contact us anytime with an explanation for the return. Lord John Press will issue you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number that will need to be written on the shipping box. Lord John Press will NOT accept any returns without an RMA number marked on the outside of the shipping box. The customer is entirely responsible for return shipping costs as well as items lost in transit, so we recommend you use a shipper such as FedEx or UPS where the package can be tracked and insured.
When packing your order for return, please be sure all the original materials are included. We will be unable to process your return if anything is missing, or if items are not packed properly to avoid damage to products and their boxes and/or packages. Final approval of any refund amount is based on final inspection by Lord John Press.
Special note on International Orders: All sales are final and items are not returnable.
